Founding Attorney
The expert behind 20West Legal, Erica launched the firm in 2018 to give families and business owners something better — an estate-planning experience built around relationships, not transactions. A seasoned attorney with a sharp legal mind, Erica is known for crafting thoughtful strategies that actually fit real lives. Her approach? Slow down, listen well, and ensure every plan reflects what matters most. She's the go-to for clear, compassionate guidance that makes a complex process feel approachable and personal.
Erica earned her J.D. from New England Law in 2006, is a proud mom of twins, and splits her time between lawyering, running (yes, for fun), and parenting her beloved black Labs, Maddie + Murphy. Clients may walk in feeling unsure - but they always leave feeling seen, supported, and set up for whatever’s next.
BARBIE FOISY
Client Services Director & Marketing Coordinator
Barbie is often the first friendly face (or voice!) you’ll encounter at 20West Legal — and the calm, collected guide walking you through the estate planning process with heart, humor, and just the right amount of support.
With a background rooted in service, and a serious love for connecting with people, Barbie believes estate planning should feel less like a transaction and more like building a safety net — with a whole team in your corner.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll often find her digging in the garden, dancing at a live music show, or hanging out with her grown kids (who still think she’s cool - most days).
JOANNA YAUCKOES
Legacy Support Specialist
Joanna keeps the engine running behind the scenes. She’s our detail-obsessed process pro, making sure every form is perfect, every deadline is met, and every client file is buttoned up from start to finish. Her work might be behind the curtain, but it makes the entire experience seamless.
When she’s not keeping things running smoothly at 20West Legal, Joanna enjoys time with her husband, three kids, and their dog - or can be found cheering from the sidelines at her kids’ sporting events.

Chief Snack Officer & Social Media Sidekick
Sam brings tech savvy and teenage energy to 20West Legal.
He’s been known to help with social media, light shredding, and office clean-up (especially if snacks are involved). Between helping mom with projects and offering his honest feedback, Sam adds a little extra charm and a lot of snacking talent—to the team.
